We are hoping that kids can work together to raise $1500 to build a well. But, you don't need to make lots of money to help. In Brazil, $10 can feed a whole orphanage for a week! You can have a bake sale, sell crafts, have a walk-a-thon, get jobs cleaning and babysitting, donate your birthday money, ask for donations instead of Christmas and birthday gifts, collect a quarter from every friend, etc.
Here's a video for a great bake sale item: Giant chocolate chip cookies. These are really good and I sell them for $1 each. We had a stand at my Grandma's Garage Sale. Remember to have adult permission for all your sales so you are safe and have supervision. Also, ask an adult for permission before cooking!
